Ingredients
1 spaghetti squash (a serving of whole-wheat spaghetti)
4 oz ground turkey breast
1/4 cup diced onion
1 minced garlic
1/4 cup diced carrot
1/2 cup canned tomatoes
1/4 tsp oregano
red pepper flakes
balck pepper
paprika
onion and garlic powder
italian seasoning
Preparation
cut spaghetti squash in half and remove seeds (alternatively, boil water for regular spaghetti)
Place the squash halves cut side down in a baking dish with 1/4 cup water
Bake at 375F for 30-40 mins (until tender)
In a pan cook the ground turkey until browned
add onion, garlic, and carrots - cook until softened
Add tomatoes and seasonings
Allow to simmer for 10-15 mins
Scrape the spagetto flesh into a bowl and top with the turkey bolognese
